IF YOU KNOW HIM, YOU WILL TRUST HIM
Trusting the Lord with all your heart means that you, first of all, believe that God is who He says He is. When you trust in the word of God, you are testifying that God is real and true.
WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE VS WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE
A major problem most Christians face is ignorance. We are all familiar with the Scripture that says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. If you are ignorant in any area of your life, you will not excel in it. Spiritual ignorance means living in a lack of understanding of the revealed truth that is in Christ Jesus.
LIVING BY FAITH
The life of a Christian has to be lived entirely by faith. The bible calls us only to believe, that’s the only requirement for salvation and also for the outworking of the new life we received in Christ Jesus. It is by grace through faith that we were saved. We only receive through faith in Jesus Christ. It is also the same grace that makes us what we are according to Paul, and if it is by grace, it still manifests by faith. That is why the just shall live by faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. The bible shows us in several places the importance of having personalized faith.
FORGIVENESS OF SINS
Forgiveness is one of the key things Jesus gave us by dying on the cross. Without it, our sin would never have been truly wiped away; we won’t really have been saved and we would have been subject to God’s wrath. We were made holy through the blood which Jesus shed. Because of His blood, there is forgiveness and He has opened a new way through which we come to God and receive life instead of death.
