The Gift of God’s Grace

By Pastor Victor Anjorin  Acts 20:24 “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord Jesus – the work of telling others the good news about the wonderful grace of God”. Grace is often defined as unmerited favor, which is accurate. To elaborate, grace reveals God’s limitless provision […]

STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED

It is important that all believers are deliberate about being a student of the word so that we can show ourselves approved of God, walking in victory and rightly interpreting, teaching, and explaining the word of God.

The Priceless Gift of Righteousness

By Pastor Chinedu Emmanuel 2 Cor 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Righteousness means being accepted, in right standing, justified, declared not guilty of any sin, and approved by God. Self-Achieved Righteousness: This simply means that man tries to make himself […]

Born Again to Love: Our New Life in Christ

By Pastor Chinedu Emmanuel Galatian 5:13-15 “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest […]

BENEFITS OF THE CROSS

It is important that every Christian understand and embrace all the benefits that have been given through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of our Lord Jesus. If we don’t grow into spiritual maturity and identify what belongs to us in Christ, the devil will cheat us out of those benefits. We will end up living as mere men without the benefits of what Christ died to provide for us which makes all the difference in our lives and relationship with God.

GRACIOUS VISITATION

The gracious visitation of God can be traced to the story of Zacchaeus. He was described as a tax collector, who was sinful in his ways. He is a rich man whose riches were linked to extortion of money from the poor. Being a short man, when Jesus was passing through Jericho, he had to climb up a sycamore tree to see Jesus. Even in his sinful nature, he desired greatly to see Jesus. He did not hide his sinful face from Jesus, instead, he realized and believed that he needed to be saved.

Inadequacy of the Law

Galatians 3:21 “Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.” The Scripture teaches that the laws of Moses were unable to free mankind from their inherently sinful nature or provide a sufficient atonement for our sins […]

Cultivating Dominion

By Pastor Chinedu Emmanuel  Matt 28:18-19 “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  20 teaching them to observe all things […]

YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY AND DOMINION

By Pastor Chinedu Emmanuel  Hebrews 2:5-7 “For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. But one in a certain place testified, saying, what is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst […]

Witness of the Holy Spirit

By Pastor Chinedu Emmanuel 1John 5:9-10 “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has […]
