IF YOU KNOW HIM, YOU WILL TRUST HIM
Trusting the Lord with all your heart means that you, first of all, believe that God is who He says He is. When you trust in the word of God, you are testifying that God is real and true.

A major problem most Christians face is ignorance. We are all familiar with the Scripture that says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. If you are ignorant in any area of your life, you will not excel in it. Spiritual ignorance means living in a lack of understanding of the revealed truth that is in Christ Jesus.
Salvation is not only about the forgiveness of sins but the mercy of God upon mankind. God saves us by grace when we believe. It’s not by works of righteousness but by the Grace of God. We do not have the power or ability to overcome the sinful nature we inherited from Adam, but by the grace of God, we are able to.
When Jesus was crucified, we were also crucified with Him. When He died on the cross, we died with Him too. When He was buried, we were also buried with Him. Then when He triumphed over death, that is when he resurrected, we became alive in Him with a new life.
As believers, it is important that we have a working understanding of salvation or the devil will cheat us. Salvation is a gift from God with many privileges. Salvation brings the riches of heaven and blessings to the believer, which no human could have ever imagined or thought about. The gifts that were freely given to us are unfathomable. It elicits joy.
Experiencing salvation is the core of a believer’s walk of faith. Salvation is a package of blessings and privileges that the Lord Jesus paid for us to have freely with His life and His blood. It is received only by faith because it is given as grace; unmerited favor. Salvation among other privileges gives us access to God and the privilege to call Him Abba Father.
We were saved by grace through faith. This is not of works but a gift from God. We need to have a working knowledge of our salvation. If we don’t have knowledge of our salvation, we won’t know the benefits of it. It is important to know what we’ve been saved from by receiving salvation.
One of the major things that salvation did for us is give us oneness with Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:16-17 says, “Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” We are one spirit with Christ when we receive the gift of salvation. Being one with Christ means that everything we are, is Him. In Him we live, and move, and have our being!
Every believer has been instructed by Jesus to continue the work of preaching and making disciples of Christ. We need to deliberately talk to people about Jesus and follow them up to make them disciples. When you minister salvation to someone, call to discuss more, show genuine care, and be there for them until they are established in a church where they are taught the true word of God; a place where they are taught what Jesus died for them to have.
